Email Destination Setup

Use managed Email for workspace alerts and consented Lead resources.

Email is managed by SaaSFunnels and powered by Resend. You do not need a Resend account, API key, or sending domain.

Check availability and send a test

  1. Open Settings > Integrations > Email.
  2. If Email is off, select Turn on Email.
  3. Select Check availability if delivery is unavailable.
  4. Select Preview test email to review the message and your own verified recipient address.
  5. Select Send test email.
  6. Check your inbox and the integration’s Activity tab.

Only a workspace admin can change Email or send a test. A test goes only to the signed-in admin’s verified address; it does not send to your Leads or teammates. “Accepted for sending” means the provider accepted the request, not that the message reached an inbox.

If Email remains unavailable, try again later or contact support. SaaSFunnels manages the transport and sender verification.

Choose Funnel email

In a Funnel’s Integrations tab, select Email and the Lead milestones or Opportunity stages to send. Save and reload the route to confirm the selection. Routing is separate from the published customer experience.

  • Opportunity and Lead alerts go to eligible workspace operators according to the existing recipient and notification settings.
  • An approved external resource goes only to the captured Lead address with the required purpose-specific consent.
  • Capture, qualification, verified signup, activation, payment, and reversal remain distinct milestones. Submitting a form does not prove payment.

SaaSFunnels keeps existing Email/Resend destination IDs and route history. These names represent the same managed transport. Repeated provisioning does not create another destination, and duplicate aliases share one logical email reservation for the same source event, purpose, resource, and recipient.

Understand delivery status

Activity and a Lead’s delivery detail show provider feedback when it is available. Delivered to mail server confirms that the recipient’s mail server accepted the message; it does not confirm inbox placement or that someone read it. A delayed message is still awaiting delivery. Bounces, spam reports, and suppression remain visible even if the provider previously accepted the send.

Review recipient feedback before considering another email. Known bounces, spam reports, and suppression hold later sends to that recipient in the same workspace. An accepted send is not automatically resent when later feedback arrives. If acceptance could not be confirmed, check Activity before trying again.

Turn Email off

Select Turn off Email in Settings to stop workspace Email destination sends. This preserves saved routes and delivery history. Checking availability or recovering provider configuration does not turn it back on. Paused or revoked Funnel subscriptions also retain their existing state.

Email is for the supported transactional flows. This integration does not add campaign composition, arbitrary recipient lists, customer-owned sending domains, or open/click tracking.
